Senior Marketing Analyst, Darden Franchising
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Sr. Marketing Analyst ā Franchising plays a key role on the Darden Franchising team by administering and facilitating the execution of marketing programs and priorities supporting Dardenās franchisees and their local brand building efforts.Ā These include support for promotions and events, menu and product development, new restaurant openings, and advertising and communications.Ā In this role, the Sr. Marketing Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional team members including the Darden franchising team, Dardenās brand teams, Dardenās communications team and Dardenās franchisees to ensure that franchisee marketing programs and initiatives align with brand guidelines and priorities.Ā
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist with franchiseesā new restaurant openings, including helping set up restaurantsā digital ecosystems, ensuring NRO assets are ready for use, and access to franchise support tools is provisioned to the franchisee
-Provide administrative support for global marketing programs like Mood Music, Black Box, Guest Sat Survey (GSS), and other Darden Franchise Marketing programs
-Provide ongoing google and social media account support to franchisees, ensuring proper set up, connection and ongoing account stability
-Gather, summarize and communicate brandsā marketing announcements, menu and promotional launches to franchisees via brand newsletters, Sharepoint and calls/meetings
-Work with Dardenās brands and web team to maintain franchisee listings across our corporate websites (e.g.Ā hours of operation, menus, CTA link outs) and ensure franchisee participation in events and promotions is reflected accurately on the sites
-Help support the market entry process for new franchise markets by conducting analysis of local competition, menu offerings and pricing, cultural norms and expectations, and diner behavior.
-Gather and maintain all marketing profile information about franchisees and their restaurants
-Gather, consolidate and share our brandsā marketing calendars with franchisees
-Collaborate with franchisees and graphic design to update and proof menus and develop new creative on behalf of franchiseesĀ
-Manage the day-to-day Global Marketing Fund invoicing, payments and reimbursements process
-Develop and manage project timelines and calendars to execute and communicate key deliverables
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-2ā3 years of progressive experience in marketing, brand marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
-Strong knowledge and comfort using computers and various programs and information systems (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Co-Pilot, etc.)Ā
-Excellent written and verbal communication skillsĀ
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related fieldĀ
OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-Previous experience working on cross-functional teams
-Strong project and time management skillsĀ
-Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and planning projects
-Proven track record of results orientationĀ
-Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
-Knowledge of Paid Media and Advertising
-Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with conciseness and clarity
-Ability to adjust communication style such that it is effective with various audiences
-Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze and evaluate data/information to inform business decisions
-Ability to travel up to 10%
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-2-3 years of experience working in restaurant or brand marketing; prior Darden experience preferred
-Experience working with Google My Business, Meta Business Suite, Yext and OpenTable
-Passion for the restaurant business and growing Dardenās brands globally
