As a Senior People Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and configuring our Workday application, utilizing your expertise in HR business processes and strong analytical skills. This position involves hands-on experience with system design and implementation across core modules including Absence, Benefits, and Compensation. You will initially work remotely with plans to transition to a hybrid schedule in downtown Toronto, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system efficiency and data integrity.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Provide end-to-end generalist and specialist functional support across all Workday modules, including Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Compensation.</li> <li>Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to global business operations.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and design technical solutions that meet evolving business needs.</li> <li>Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.</li> <li>Support the implementation of new features by managing data gathering, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).</li> <li>Develop custom reports and modify business processes to optimize system performance and support data-driven decision-making.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>2 to 3 years of hands-on functional configuration experience within the Workday platform.</li> <li>Proven experience with cross-functional security, integration, and reporting elements such as EIBs and calculated fields.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Workday security functionality, including security group assignments and authentication policies.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with leadership and explain complex technical concepts.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Workday Pro certification in Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, or Compensation modules.</li> <li>Previous experience managing Applicant Tracking Systems, specifically Greenhouse ATS.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of integration tools including Workday Studio, RaaS, and web services APIs.</li> <li>Experience in full-cycle Workday implementations, including project management, data loading, and change management.</li> <li>Knowledge of additional Workday HCM modules and experience in international HRIS environments.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Benefits and Perks</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Work from (almost) anywhere for up to 20 days per year</li> <li>Focus on mental health and well-being:</li> <ul> <li>Company-paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth</li> <li>Company-paid subscription to Headspace</li> <li>Annual company-wide week off a year - the whole team fully recharges (and returns without a pile-up of work!)</li> </ul> <li>Paid parental leave</li> <li>Generous paid vacation + time off for your birthday</li> <li>Paid volunteer time</li> <li>Focus on your career growth:</li> <ul> <li>Development Dollars</li> <li>Leadership development</li> <li>Access to thousands of on-demand e-learnings</li> </ul> <li>Travel Discounts</li> <li>Employee Resource Groups</li> <li>20 days of paid time off</li> <li>Private health and dental insurance</li> <li>Life and Disability insurance</li> </ul> <p>The best connections happen face-to-face, whether you’re sitting down to dinner or having coffee with a coworker. This role aligns with that approach, with an expectation of coming into the office two days a week—giving employees the best of both worlds: in-person collaboration and flexibility.</p> <p>The expected range of compensation for this position based in Toronto, Canada, including commission and/or bonuses, is $97,000-$106,000 CAD.<em> </em>There are a variety of factors that go into determining a compensation range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.</p> <p>We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits.
