You are a <strong>product thinker who uses data to advocate for our users.</strong> In this role, you will sit at the <strong>intersection of Product, Engineering, and Design</strong>, transforming raw behavioral data into a narrative that shapes our roadmap. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in data analysis and a proven track record of turning data into actionable insights in a B2C SaaS environment.<br><br><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></div> <ul> <li><strong>Master the User Journey:</strong> Map complex B2C user journeys to identify friction points. You’ll go beyond the "what" to uncover the "why" behind user behavior.</li> <li><strong>Build the Data Foundation:</strong> Design and maintain <strong>"reporting-grade" data models in dbt</strong>, ensuring our BI layer is the single source of truth for product health and business use.</li> <li><strong>Optimize Growth:</strong> Design, build, and monitor funnels and A/B tests at scale to optimize performance and conversion.</li> <li><strong>Influence the Roadmap:</strong> Analyze data to identify trends and insights that directly influence product decisions and business strategy.</li> <li><strong>Foster Independent Discovery:</strong> Build and scale intuitive data tools and self-service environments that <strong>encourage independent behavior</strong> among business users, reducing the need for constant manual support.</li> <li><strong>Consultative Partnership:</strong> Provide business expertise and guidance on how to leverage data analytics and reporting within the organization.</li> <li><strong>Ad-hoc &amp; Statistical Analysis:</strong> Support the business with ad-hoc analytics and apply statistical techniques to discover new business opportunities.</li> </ul> <div><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></div> <ul> <li><strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in data or product analytics.</li> <li><strong>Highly experienced in SQL</strong> and building data models that scale.</li> <li><strong>Self-Starter Mentality:</strong> You don't wait for a ticket to be assigned; you dig into the data, find an anomaly, and bring the solution to the team.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Ability to <strong>translate complex technical findings into "business-speak"</strong> for stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li><strong>B2C Product Sense:</strong> A strong drive for data and numbers coupled with an affinity for user experience and pain points.</li> <li><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Highly experienced with dashboard building, best practices, and data visualization.</li> <li><strong>Experience with dbt is a plus</strong> (or a strong desire to master it).</li> <li><strong>Collaborative Spirit:</strong> Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and a proven ability to work as a strong team player.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Navan uses AI-assisted Automated Employment Decision Tool (Metaview) to assist with evaluating resumes against job qualifications for this role.
