Datavant is the data collaboration platform trusted for healthcare. Guided by our mission to make the world’s health data secure, accessible and actionable, we provide critical data solutions for organizations across the healthcare ecosystem - including providers, health plans, researchers, and life sciences companies. From fulfilling a single patient’s request for their medical records to powering the AI revolution in healthcare, Datavanters are building the future of how data is connected and used to improve health.

By joining Datavant today, you’re stepping onto a driven and highly collaborative team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.

About the Team

The Data Connectivity team builds the products and capabilities that enable healthcare organizations to securely connect and use data across organizations, workflows, and technology ecosystems while preserving privacy and trust.

Our products sit at the intersection of healthcare data, identity, privacy, and modern cloud and data platforms. We work with healthcare and life sciences organizations as well as strategic technology partners such as Databricks, Snowflake, and major cloud providers like AWS, to make Datavant's capabilities available where customers already work with their data.

As healthcare increasingly adopts cloud-native architectures, AI-enabled workflows, and connected data ecosystems, trusted data connectivity is becoming even more important. Our team is evolving both the capabilities we offer and how customers access and use them—including how Datavant capabilities can become embedded in emerging AI and agentic workflows. This work helps enable clinical research, real-world evidence generation, development of better medicines, and ultimately better patient outcomes.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own meaningful areas of Datavant's growing Data Connectivity portfolio and help shape how our capabilities reach customers through modern data and cloud ecosystems.

A major initial focus is expected to be our platform integrations and ecosystem strategy, including products and partnerships across environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, and major cloud providers. You'll help translate customer and partner needs into compelling product experiences, drive roadmaps and execution with Engineering, and identify opportunities to create differentiated joint value by combining Datavant's healthcare capabilities with the compute, storage, governance, and AI capabilities these ecosystems provide.

AI will be an important dimension of this work. You'll help explore how Datavant's trusted Data Connectivity capabilities can become increasingly native to AI-enabled and agentic workflows, identify opportunities where AI itself can create meaningful new product value, and use AI thoughtfully to accelerate product discovery, prototyping, analysis, and execution.

Your scope will evolve as the portfolio grows. You may work across platform integrations, core Data Connectivity capabilities, customer workflows, and new product initiatives. We're looking for someone who can independently own a complex product area while seeing how their work fits into the broader Data Connectivity strategy.

This role is a strong fit for someone who combines excellent product judgment and execution with enough technical depth to work closely with engineers and technology partners. You should be equally comfortable understanding a customer workflow, discussing technical tradeoffs with Engineering, aligning with a strategic partner, and driving a complex initiative from ambiguity through launch and adoption.

In This Role, You Will

  • Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for meaningful areas of the Data Connectivity portfolio.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, needs, and pain points and translate them into clear product priorities.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to define requirements, make thoughtful technical/product tradeoffs, prioritize work, and drive high-quality delivery.
  • Lead products and integrations across modern cloud and data ecosystems, with an initial focus likely spanning partners such as Databricks, Snowflake, and major cloud providers.
  • Help define compelling joint value propositions with strategic technology partners, identifying where Datavant should differentiate and where partner capabilities create complementary value.
  • Identify opportunities to embed Datavant capabilities into AI-enabled and agentic workflows across strategic cloud and data ecosystems.
  • Explore where AI can create differentiated product value within Data Connectivity, grounding investment decisions in meaningful customer problems and outcomes.
  • Thoughtfully leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, analysis, prototyping, and execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with GTM, Technical Services, Design, Privacy, Engineering, and partner teams to take products from discovery through launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
  • Own customer and partner discovery, synthesizing inputs across multiple stakeholders into clear product direction rather than simply responding to individual requests.
  • Drive roadmap execution across multiple concurrent initiatives, proactively identifying dependencies, risks, and decisions needed to maintain momentum.
  • Establish clear measures of success and use customer, product, and business signals to inform investment decisions.
  • Help improve how we launch, communicate, and operate our products, including release readiness and cross-functional coordination where needed.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous problems, make thoughtful recommendations, and communicate decisions and tradeoffs clearly.
  • Contribute to the broader Data Connectivity strategy as our products, partnerships, and organizational model continue to evolve.

About You

  • You have 7+ years of experience in Product Management, product strategy, engineering, or another highly relevant technical product role, with demonstrated ownership of complex products from discovery through delivery.
  • You have strong product judgment and can move fluidly between customer problems, business strategy, technical considerations, and execution.
  • You are technically fluent. You don't need to be an engineer, but you enjoy understanding how systems work, can engage meaningfully in architecture and API discussions, and build strong partnerships with Engineering.
  • You have experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud/data ecosystems.
  • You have experience working with complex B2B or enterprise products involving data, cloud infrastructure, APIs, developer workflows, or technical integrations.
  • You are highly customer-oriented and enjoy deeply understanding workflows rather than taking requirements at face value.
  • You are curious and pragmatic about AI: you actively explore how emerging tools can improve products and how you work, while distinguishing meaningful opportunities from technology for technology's sake.
  • You are an exceptional cross-functional operator. You create clarity, establish ownership, identify dependencies, and keep complicated initiatives moving.
  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving environments. You can establish direction without waiting for every question to be answered.
  • You communicate exceptionally well with technical and non-technical audiences and can represent your product with customers, partners, and senior leaders.
  • You are proactive and independent. You keep stakeholders informed, know when to make a decision, and know when an issue warrants escalation.
  • You are highly organized without becoming process-heavy. You use structure to accelerate execution rather than create overhead.
  • You operate with a strong ownership mindset and are willing to do the work needed to make your product, team, and customers successful.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building native applications, integrations, APIs, SDKs, or developer-facing products.
  • Experience developing products in partnership with major technology or ecosystem partners.
  • Experience building or integrating AI-enabled products, agentic workflows, or AI capabilities within cloud/data ecosystems.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, healthcare data, identity, privacy, or security.
  • Experience with data connectivity, identity resolution, interoperability, or privacy-preserving technologies.
  • Technical background in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, implementation, or a related field.
  • Experience taking enterprise products through commercialization, launch, adoption, and expansion.

Why Join This Team?

Data Connectivity sits at the center of some of the most important challenges in healthcare: enabling organizations to responsibly connect and use data while maintaining privacy and trust.

You'll have meaningful ownership from day one, work directly with customers and strategic technology partners, partner closely with Engineering, and help shape both the products we deliver today and how Datavant participates in the rapidly evolving cloud, data, and AI ecosystem. You'll have the opportunity to explore how trusted healthcare data capabilities evolve for an AI-native future while developing practical experience using AI to build and operate products more effectively.

As the Data Connectivity portfolio and team grow, you'll also have the opportunity to expand your ownership and help shape the future direction of one of Datavant's foundational product areas.
