Job Description:

Business Title: QA Analyst

Years of Experience: Minimum 3 and maximum up to 7

Job Description: We are looking for a QA Analyst to embed quality at the heart of our solution delivery. This role will work directly with solution designers and developers, ensuring that unit tests and automated quality checks are created, curated, and continuously improved as the system is built.

Must Have Skills:

  • Automation Testing (UI/API/E2E):
    Playwright with TypeScript, UI Automation, API Testing, End-to-End Testing, Cross-Browser Testing, Test Framework Development, Page Object Model (POM), Fixtures, Parallel Execution, Network Mocking, Authentication Handling, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, CI/CD Test Integration
  • Performance Testing:
    K6 with JavaScript, Load Testing, Stress Testing, Spike Testing, API Performance Testing, SLA Validation, Bottleneck Analysis, Performance Monitoring
  • Cloud & CI/CD:
    Azure DevOps CI/CD, Automated Test Execution, Deployment Automation, Artifact Management, Environment-Based Deployments
  • Observability & Monitoring:
    Open Telemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Distributed Tracing, Metrics Monitoring, Centralized Logging, Dashboarding, Root Cause Analysis, Performance Observability
  • Infrastructure & Distributed Systems:
    Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, Containerized Applications, Event-Driven Systems, Kafka Message Validation, Scalable Test Environments
  • Version Control & Collaboration:

Good to Have Skills:

Background in high-volume booking, transaction, or e-commerce platforms.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing integration.

Knowledge of security testing approaches and tools.

Relevant QA or test management certifications (desirable but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration & Unit Testing

  • Partner with designers and developers to define, create, and maintain a comprehensive suite of unit tests aligned to solution designs.

  • Ensure test coverage evolves in step with feature development, avoiding technical debt and quality gaps.

Performance & Observability

  • Design and implement telemetry pipelines with InfluxDB, Grafana, and Prometheus.

  • Build real-time dashboards and generate clear test reports for both technical and business stakeholders.

Defect & Risk Management

  • Manage and prioritise defects, providing clear recommendations on remediation urgency and go/no-go decisions.

  • Advocate for quality, including being willing to block releases where standards are not met.

Environment & Test Data

  • Ensure test environments are production-like, with correct components, data, and configurations to support complex scenarios.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, translating technical results into plain business language.

  • Collaborate closely with solution architects to highlight risks, weak spots, and design considerations.

  • Mentor developers and test engineers to raise the quality bar across the team.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science

Certification (If Any):

Certification in Azure

Snowflake Associate / Core

Shift Timing: 12 PM to 9 PM and/or 2 PM to 11 PM – IST time zone
