Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end accuracy for the SAP RAR system, including performing and reviewing multiple reconciliations such as SAP to RAR revenue reconciliation and SAP to other source systems.
Lead the review of complex Enterprise Agreements (EAs), validating fulfillment and revenue data using BI reporting to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Investigate and resolve system variances and issues, performing thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive long-term technical fixes with the IT team.
Drive large-scale transformation projects, acting as a subject matter expert to redesign revenue processes.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system enhancements and bug fixes.
Identify and champion automation initiatives to reduce manual effort, leveraging tools like Tableau for real-time reporting and monitoring.
Coach and mentor global team members, including allocating tasks and reviewing deliverables from the offshore Bangalore (BLR) close team to maintain high standards of quality.
Ensure strict compliance with SOX 404 key controls and support external audits by maintaining comprehensive, audit-ready documentation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, related discipline or equivalent military experience.
4+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and operation in the technology industry.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and is comfortable with handling large volumes of data
Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles, particularly for complex software and SaaS business models.
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
Big 4 and relevant industry experience.
Experience working with SAP S4/HANA and RAR.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
