As a forward‑thinking asset manager, we build dynamic relationships with clients, understand their goals, and navigate complex markets together. We leverage cutting‑edge strategies and deep insights to unlock opportunities for long‑term wealth creation. Our talented, global teams bring expertise that is both broad and unique.

We are looking for a Senior Semantic AI Analyst to join the Distribution Intelligence team. This role proactively leads complex semantic subject areas, governed metric design, validation frameworks, and AI/BI enablement practices for Distribution. The senior analyst will define standards and operating models that ensure semantic assets reflect how the business thinks, remain trusted as data evolves, and scale across reporting, self-service analytics, and AI-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will bring deep semantic-layer, metric-governance, and validation experience together with strong cross-functional facilitation. This person will resolve complex business concepts, establish scalable standards, and lead roadmap and adoption work across reporting, self-service analytics, and AI-driven experiences.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

How you will add value:

  • Semantic Governance & Design:

    • Lead semantic design and governance for complex or cross-domain Distribution subject areas.

    • Define standards for naming, entity modeling, metric logic, synonyms, prompts, examples, certification, lifecycle management, and change control.

  • Stakeholder Partnership & Roadmap:

    • Partner with senior business, data, engineering, architecture, analytics, and AI stakeholders to resolve ambiguous concepts and prioritize semantic roadmap work.

  • Validation & Change Impact:

    • Design validation frameworks and answer-evaluation methods that measure semantic accuracy, completeness, explainability, and business usefulness.

    • Lead impact assessments for semantic changes, including downstream BI, AI, reporting, data-quality, and adoption implications.

  • Reuse & Team Leadership:

    • Identify opportunities to reuse semantic patterns across subject areas and reduce duplicated metric or business-rule logic.

    • Mentor analysts and set review standards for semantic definitions, example-question libraries, test evidence, and stakeholder communication.

What will help you be successful in this role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • 8-12 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data governance, or related fields.

  • Experience leading cross-functional validation, certification, or adoption initiatives.

  • Financial services, asset management, distribution, sales, or marketing analytics experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong semantic-layer and data product management expertise.

  • Advanced business intelligence and data governance knowledge.

  • Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) skills.

  • Deep understanding of key performance indicator (KPI) governance and entity modelling.

  • Knowledge of hierarchies, data grain, and lifecycle management.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder facilitation and communication skills.

  • Ability to resolve competing business and technical requirements.

  • Proven ability to influence decisions across teams.
