We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Data Analyst to join our Asset Servicing Deal Management and Controls team. This role is located in Boston, MA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Analyze and interpret business data to support decision-making, reporting, and control activities across the Asset Servicing Deal Management and Controls team.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Build and support AI agents using BNY’s Eliza platform to help streamline workflows, improve data access, and enhance team productivity.
  • Translate Excel-based business files into structured data assets and database-ready formats to improve reporting, scalability, and data reuse.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify trends, surface insights, and deliver sound, data-driven recommendations that improve business performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment with a strong commitment to execution excellence, shared success, and continuous improvement.

 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 3 plus years of total work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as NumPy and pandas, or strong proficiency in SQL query language is required.
  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  • Exposure to or interest in building AI-driven solutions, workflow automation, or agent-based tools using platforms.
  • Experience transforming Excel-based data into structured datasets, databases, or reporting-ready solutions is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to produce sound, data-driven results and recommendations.
