Role Overview

As a Data Quality and Stewardship - Senior Visualization and Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and governance of enterprise-grade Power BI solutions. This role goes far beyond report creation - it focuses on semantic model architecture, performance optimization, ownership, API integrations, UX design with a focus on Data Quality and stewardship stakeholders, automation, and analytical demand management.

You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineering, data stewards, and IT, translating complex data quality and stewardship needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable analytical products across the entire Power BI ecosystem.

What will you do in this role

You will contribute to enterprise data quality and stewardship’s analytics success in the following areas:

• Design, architect, and develop enterprise-level Data Quality and data stewardship Power BI solutions using complex and high-volume data sources
• Translate data quality and stewardship requirements into well-defined analytical products, KPIs, and reusable models
• Own and define Power BI data modeling strategy, advanced DAX
• Drive performance optimization
• Design, govern, and evolve Power BI platform architecture (workspaces, deployment pipelines, security, lifecycle management)
• Act as a technical authority for Power BI capabilities, features, and roadmap adoption
• Lead stakeholder discovery sessions, demand intake processes
• Build and maintain integrations between Power BI and enterprise systems (e.g., Jira, Azure AD)

What should you have

• Experienced BI (Visualization and Analytics) professional with strong background in enterprise analytics and platform architecture
• Advanced expertise in Power BI (datasets, DAX, performance tuning, platform governance, API)
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions
• Confident communicator able to facilitate workshops in English and engage senior stakeholders
• Strong UX mindset for analytics and data storytelling
• Design and develop robust, scalable semantic models aligned with enterprise data strategy
• Partner with data engineering teams to align data pipelines with BI consumption needs
• Apply visualization standards, design systems, templates, and branding guidelines
• Additional skills and experience considered an advantage:
• Power Automate and workflow automation
• CI/CD concepts
• Knowledge of Databricks, Collibra Data Quality, Collibra Catalog, AccelData
• Strong ownership mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently in a complex environment
