What You’ll Do
Configure and implement functional changes in Workday in the following areas: HCM, Compensation, Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, Finance and Performance.
Assess and communicate impact of Workday functional changes to business processes and integrations.
Work on complex and strategic Workday projects, take ownership from end to end along with level 3 tickets.
Ensure that the proposed solutions are in line with the functional vision of the applications and roadmaps of our stakeholders.
Contribute to the fast-paced environment by thinking out of the box and continuously wanting to structurally improve the ways of working, the technical stability and the speed in which solutions are delivered
Independently consults with clients to understand the business case for changes, process improvements, interfaces, or enhancements; evaluates needs; documents scope and objectives, work with clients to test and implement approved changes.
Partner closely and develop strong relationships with HR and the Business to improve workflow efficiency and transactional experiences. Ascertain future needs and develop/communicate to HR and IT to support the business.
Responsible for major Workday Upgrade releases by researching new functionality, testing, implementation and assist with change management.
Performs group data/bulk updates, exports, imports, data clean-ups, and research/report, provides corrective action on any data discrepancies.
Design, develop and evolve dashboards for reporting needs at all levels of the organization to support decision making
Provide Workday Functional expertise to application development and maintenance teams and other IT organization teams.
Proactively engage with members in Senior Leadership, HR, Salesforce, IT, Procurement, and travel teams
Mentor team members for their skill development and delivery
Handle sensitive data with care ensuring all necessary security measures are taken.
Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure proper support, follow-ups, and deadline adherence
Experience You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Technology or related field.
5-7 years of hands-on experience in Workday support, configuration experience preferred. With specific experience related to Security, Reporting, Recruiting, Time off/Absence and performance review. Additional experience with Finance and/or Payroll is required.
Business acumen and the ability to exercise proper judgment, such as maintaining confidentiality in all areas, are expected.
Excellent communication (written & verbal) for change management support, relationship building, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities, think tactically as well as strategically, demonstrate objectivity, be results-oriented, show initiative and creativity, and have a bias for action.
MS Office skills required - strong PC skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Replacement Role - The targeted compensation range for this position typically falls between $91,000 – $114,000 annually. Final compensation is determined by education, experience, and internal equity principles
