ServiceNow Technical Analyst 

The University of Sydney is seeking applications from experienced ServiceNow Technical Analysts. This role provides development and support services through the Business Platforms team.

The opportunity 

The ServiceNow Technical Analysts will provide technical solutions in ITSM, CSM and core tables, focus on rapid digital solutions for workflows, digital forms, and collaboration solutions due to the low-code/no-code nature of ServiceNow. The role will work closely with the Product Lead and Platform Lead to create and enhance these automation, workflow, and collaboration services.  

What you'll do 

  • Provide technical expertise in ServiceNow to provide solutions in line with   approved architecture and designs. 

  • Provide technical expertise and support for the University's Enterprise Service Management platform (ServiceNow).

  • Contribute to relevant standards, frameworks, methodologies, and knowledgebase. 

  • Be responsible and accountable for keeping accurate and complete records and contribute to ICT knowledge management. 

  • Work closely with the Product Lead, Business stakeholders, ICT teams and vendors to provide issue resolution, solution and service delivery and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Responsible and accountable for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the application and associated integrated platforms. 

 

What we're looking for 

  • Tertiary qualifications and certifications in a relevant field or a combination of relevant training and experience. 

  • Must hold a current ServiceNow Administrator Certification (CSA) with 5+ years of ServiceNow platform administration experience. Experience in ITSM, CSM, Flow, API/Integration Hub, ESS highly desirable.

  • Ability to accept and deal with ambiguous situations; a proven sense of urgency; a sense of knowing when to escalate. Thorough understanding of the underpinning concepts of Digital Automation and the opportunities and benefits this offers to an organisation.

  • Demonstrated experience in utilising Business Process Management concepts and methodologies, such as process mapping and process optimisation.
