Rare opportunity to help shape and scale a critical service capability supporting one of Westpac's largest transformation programs.

  • 12-month Max Term Contract
  • Sydney location (3 days office, 2 days from home)
  • Join a high-profile transformation delivering enterprise-wide change

How will I help?

As a Service Operations Manager – Test Environment & Data, you will play a key role within Westpac's Test Environment Management Services (TEMS) function, supporting the delivery of major technology initiatives, including the UNITE transformation program.

You will be responsible for leading the operational services that underpin non-production environments, ensuring teams have access to stable, secure and well-managed testing platforms required to deliver technology change safely and effectively.

Working across a complex enterprise landscape, you will partner with technology, engineering, testing, infrastructure and delivery teams to drive operational excellence, improve service performance and help shape the future operating model for environment and test data services.

This is a unique opportunity to influence a growing capability while supporting one of Westpac's most significant transformation programs.

What's in it for me?

You'll play a significant part in the future of a business that has been creating better futures together for more than 200 years.

We'll support your career growth through learning opportunities, mentoring, internal mobility and flexible ways of working. You'll be surrounded by talented people who are passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes and creating positive customer experiences.

Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for primary and secondary carers. This includes support for adoption, foster care and surrogacy arrangements, along with continued superannuation contributions while you're on leave.

What do I need?

  • Proven experience in Service Operations, Service Delivery, IT Service Management or Technology Operations within a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Incident, Change, Problem and Release Management frameworks and operational governance.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation, migration or enterprise technology programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, improve and scale service management capabilities, processes and operating models.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across technology, engineering, testing, infrastructure and delivery teams.
  • Strong vendor and partner management experience, with a focus on driving accountability and service outcomes.
  • Exposure to test environments, non-production services, enterprise release management or operational readiness activities will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working within banking, financial services or other highly regulated environments is preferred.
  • Strong communication, influencing and reporting skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for service reliability, operational excellence and customer outcomes.
