Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlement of transactions across multiple banking partners and payment channels while maintaining high operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor daily settlements across partner banks and payment channels.
  • Ensure timely transaction confirmation, matching, and settlement.
  • Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies by coordinating with banks, acquirers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business, compliance, and custodial teams to ensure smooth settlement operations.
  • Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and acquiring partners.
  • Monitor failed transactions and take corrective actions to minimize operational and financial risks.
  • Maintain accurate settlement and transaction records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements, including T+0/T+1 settlement cycles and bank file settlements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in settlement operations or transaction processing.
  • Good understanding of banking operations, payment systems, and financial instruments.
  • Experience with settlement and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills (Macros, Power Query, etc.).
  • Understanding of settlement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with payment processors, acquiring banks, or financial institutions.
