Role Descriptions: Siebel Data Migration Job Description: Basic Qualification : BTech, BE or an equivalent degree Skills Required: • Overall Experience : 8-12 years • Siebel Data Model of version 17 or higher. • Configuration using Siebel Tools IP17 or higher. • Siebel OM Experience • Siebel EIM processes – Insert , Delete, Update • Solid knowledge of Database systems such as Oracle 11g with atleast 5 years of experience like PL/SQL, Packages, Materialised views, etc • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Independent and self motivated Roles and Responsibilities : • Perform application configuration preferably related to EIM jobs like EIM Mapping, EIM table refresh , adding , modifying column mappings, foreign key resolution, etc • Design and incorporate ETL custom scripts using PL/SQL procedures and packages. Data load scripts and tools development like sqlldr. • Provide second level of production support by following existing procedure and introducing more efficient process wherever necessary • Respond to issues or production incidents when necessary to ensure system availability • Perform unit testing and coordinates user acceptance testing to ensure the changes meets business expectations. • Document all data migration changes as a part of change control process. • Work efficiently in all the phases of SDLC from requirement gathering to design implementation, testing and release. • Understand the data model and its mapping to the various business processes and integration points. • Provide solution to improve scalibity and performance of existing system and tools.
