SME Data Warehouse Specialist/Reporting Specialist -- Data Bricks

We utilize data from the Oracle system combined with data from other applications, examples Travel Management / Direct Access (employee information), and files / crosswalks to create dashboards, reports, and data extracts.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Position Description</strong></span>:</p> <p>This role will provide use of the Data Bricks enterprise Business Intelligence reporting tool. This will include hands-on functional development of dashboards, visualizations, reports, and extracts within the Data Bricks tool encompassing the complete Report Development Life Cycle (RDLC) of requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and operations &amp; maintenance.</p> <p>&nbsp;<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tasks/Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Create dashboards, visualizations, report, and data extracts using Data Bricks</li> <li>Report Development Life Cycle (RDLC) <ul> <li>Working individually and as part of the team with the client staff to gather and finalize requirements</li> <li>Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts designs</li> <li>Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts development</li> <li>Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts testing and validation</li> <li>Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts operations &amp; maintenance</li> </ul> </li> <li>Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs)</li> <li>Create Technical Design Documents (TDDs)</li> <li>Lead and assist in providing training and demonstrations</li> <li>Support user base</li> <li>Review / Update documentation</li> <li>Internal team cross-review</li> <li>Status tracking</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Required Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship Required / Background Investigation required to attain favorable entry on duty (EOD)&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;BS Degree</li> <li>2-5 years of experience (within the last 7 years) working Federal Financials within a Federal Agency</li> <li><strong> </strong><strong>Data Bricks experience (must have)</strong></li> <li>Experience with big data</li> <li>Excellent writing skills – ability to write professional quality documents</li> <li>Excellent oral communications skills and the ability to make a positive contribution in meetings</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;Data Bricks coding – including Artificial Intelligence</li> <li>Experience of performing reporting tasks for full-lifecycle Federal reporting project that is of similar size and scope</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>At Teracore, we support, depend and thrive on differences for the benefit of our associates and customers.
