SOC Lead Analyst for Corporate Location in Manhattan
Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking an experienced Security Operation Center (SOC) Lead Analyst in Midtown Manhattan for a corporate location.
PAY RATE: $27.00 - $28.00 an hour
SCHEDULE AVAILABLE:
- Tuesday - Saturday 0800-1600
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead Analyst is responsible for overseeing day tour SOC operations and serving as a senior-level resource for investigations, incident response, operational coordination, and supervisory support. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets through effective monitoring, analysis, reporting, and leadership within the SOC environment.
The SOC Lead Analyst reports directly to the Account Managers and is considered a supervisory-level position within the department. The ideal candidate must possess strong investigative abilities, leadership skills, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and support daily Security Operations Center activities and personnel.
- Monitor and support security operations for more than 20 Fox News locations throughout the United States and Tel Aviv.
- Conduct and oversee investigations involving thefts, workplace incidents, suspicious activities, assaults, accidents, policy violations, and other security-related matters.
- Perform extensive video investigations utilizing CCTV and surveillance systems to identify, analyze, document, and resolve incidents.
- Review surveillance footage for extended periods while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and focus.
- Monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, emergency communications, and related technologies.
- Analyze incidents and determine appropriate escalation procedures and notifications.
- Coordinate responses with Security Management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and internal departments as necessary.
- Prepare detailed investigative reports, incident summaries, timelines, and operational documentation.
- Maintain accurate and timely incident logs and investigative records.
- Assist in developing and implementing SOC procedures, operational protocols, and best practices.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to SOC personnel during routine operations and emergency situations.
- Train and mentor newly assigned SOC personnel to ensure compliance with departmental standards, operational procedures, and performance expectations.
- Assist with training and mentoring staff to ensure compliance with departmental standards and procedures.
- Exercise sound judgment and professionalism while handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and operational expectations.
- Assist management with operational planning, staffing coordination, and special assignments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, investigations, military, or a related field preferred.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License
- Prior experience within a Security Operations Center environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated investigative experience and strong analytical ability.
- Excellent report-writing and documentation skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, alarm monitoring, and related security technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report management software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates within a fast-paced Security Operations Center environment involving continuous monitoring, investigations, incident management, and coordination of security-related activities. The role may require extended periods of sitting, computer usage, radio communications, report writing, and prolonged review of surveillance video footage.
