That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.</span></p> <h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Work on projects that span technologies, systems, and processes in order to design, build, test, and ship great code every day.</li> <li>Build a great customer experience centered around navigating and actioning on products for internal teams and Stripe users using our infrastructure.</li> <li>Scope and lead medium to large technical projects that align with Stripe’s broad strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Develop and execute against both short- and long-term roadmaps, make effective technical trade-offs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.</li> <li>Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach with customers and cross-functional stakeholders across Stripe.</li> <li>Debug production issues across services and several levels of the stack. This includes Ruby, Typescript, Scala and internal tooling.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</span></p> <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3> <p>Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of Software development work experience. Qualifying experience may be gained before, during, or after education.</p> <p>Position also requires the following:</p> <ul> <li>1 year of experience in designing and building software solutions in Ruby, Typescript, Python, Scala, Java, C/C++, Haskell, Ocaml, or React;</li> <li>1 year of experience in designing and building software using Event Monster, Cron, GraphQL, gRPC, Airflow, Spark, or Presto/SQL queries or integration with external libraries or APIs;</li> <li>1 year of experience in designing and solving software problems using advanced algorithms and data structures; and</li> <li>6 months of experience in designing and implementing inter-process communication, memory management techniques, file systems, storage management, and addressing concurrency and synchronization challenges using system-level programming.</li> </ul> <p>Salary: $156,800.00 - $235,200.00/yr.</p> <p>This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.</p> <p>40 hrs/week</p> <p>Up to 50% remote work permitted.</p> <p>&nbsp;Multiple Positions Available.</p> <p>Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends. <strong>NY14</strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">#LI-DNI</span></p>
