Job Title
Software Engineering Senior Analyst â Client Reporting
The Senior Analyst will play a key role in developing highâquality reporting solutions and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data within the businessâowned Medallion and Platinum layers of the Lakehouse environment. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced reports and dashboards that directly support operational and strategic decisionâmaking across the organization.
In addition to core reporting responsibilities, the Senior Analyst will lead efforts to migrate legacy reporting and data workflows into the Lakehouse architecture. This includes converting SSRS datasets to Lakehouseâcompatible structures and transitioning legacy SAS code into Databricks using SQL or Python. The role will collaborate closely with data engineering, governance, and business teams to validate data, resolve quality issues, and ensure that curated datasets adhere to established standards.
This position requires strong analytical skills, handsâon technical expertise in modern reporting and data platforms, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The Senior Analyst will be instrumental in advancing the organization's modernization roadmap while maintaining high levels of data quality and trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports, including paginated, parameterized, and subscription-driven reports.
- Create reusable report templates, data models, and visualization standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau.
- Partner with senior team members and business units to gather requirements and translate them into effective Reporting/data solutions for Gold and Silver Data.
- Partner with senior team members to develop and maintain tools and processes that directly contribute to the completeness and accuracy of the gold and silver medallion data layers
- Collaborate with Analytics and IT teams to support seamless data integration and governance of the gold and silver data layers
- Perform Gold and Silver Data QA activities that produce narrative on the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the data
- Support and execute reusable code modules and scripts for data processes, validation, and automation tasks
- Support and contribute to documented data validation rules and standards
Education:
Any bachelorâs degreeÂ
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare/Analytics preferred.Â
Skills:
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Solid experience in SQL, SAS, SSRS, Python, and\or Databricks.
- Solid experience in Lakehouse architecture and data modelling best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience in data quality assessment and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a lead or senior analyst role preferred.
