We are looking for a talented Sourcing Analyst to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Services for our Cummins in San Luis Potosí, S.L.P.
Job Summary:
Collects information, inputs, data from various sources and conducts analysis/simulations to support or report sourcing work. Analyzes sourcing information and presents findings for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining high quality product and/or service delivery. Supports sourcing processs and or may source assigned items and executes buying strategies in accordance with agreed sourcing strategy at the optimum cost. Supports and or leads some "special" projects within the team category scope. Super User/Subject Matter Experts (SME) for systems and tools to support the team
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support sourcing and procurement initiatives by analyzing data, market trends, supplier information, and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Execute purchasing activities for inventory, supplies, services, and capital goods, including creating and managing purchase orders with suppliers.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and provide data analysis for Value Capture reporting at month-end and quarter-end.
- Prepare recommendations and present findings to procurement and sourcing leaders to support business decisions.
- Apply sourcing policies, procedures, and processes consistently to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Support activities such as price benchmarking, supplier performance analysis, market research, process improvement, and business modeling.
- Assist with supplier interactions related to order fulfillment, payments, and general procurement activities.
- Support contract management activities, including gathering information for agreements and maintaining legal and compliance documentation within applicable systems.
- Assist with supplier evaluations, interviews, and qualification processes.
- Participate in Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects by providing data analysis and market intelligence.
- Support low-complexity sourcing activities and contract development under supervision.
- Manage and maintain Ariba IACs (Invoice Against Contracts) for assigned activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced Portuguese language proficiency (required).
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
University degree in field appropriate for the function required or equivalent experience required.
