Applies data-driven analysis to support sourcing decisions and category strategies.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong><u>Position Overview:</u></strong>   </p> <p>This position will report to the SNS Commodity Manager and be a member of the Indirect Procurement teams focusing on all the aspects of tactical and strategic procurement for SNS.</p> <p>Key attributes of this role include:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Experience in SNS support and strategic sourcing</li> <li>Good understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms</li> <li>Excellent organizational and analytical skills, solid problem solving and detail oriented</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work with deadlines</li> <li>Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel.</li> <li>Experience in a shared service center if possible</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Become a Subject Matter Expert for SNS commodities</li> <li>Data or requirement gathering, market desk research, TCO calculation, benchmarking</li> <li>Organizing weekly regional commodity calls with Commodity Management and buyers</li> <li>Go-To person in case buyers have commodity specific questions</li> <li>Support and partner with Commodity Management towards strategic projects and business planning and forecasting (prioritization of opportunities based on Saving Potential v/s Effort Required)</li> <li>CE’s are expected to help identify projects through spend analytics and opportunity identification</li> <li>CE‘s manage strategic and sourcing projects as assigned by Commodity Management and upon approval of project charter detailing scope, milestones, objectives, timeline</li> <li>Manage end-to-end own sourcing project from ideation to contract execution and ordering</li> <li>Sourcing activities to be based on the guidelines in the commodity playbook and other relevant documentation (Standard Operating Procedures)</li> <li>Set selection criteria for the suppliers to be invited in RFX’s</li> <li>Understand suppliers and their capabilities</li> <li>Enforce use and acceptance of TE contract templates with all suppliers</li> <li>Collecting supplier quotations</li> <li>Comparing supplier offered prices and proposals</li> <li>Calculate savings as per the quotations</li> <li>Agree on which supplier to select with Commodity Management and/or Stakeholders</li> <li>Report productivity in relevant system</li> <li>Manage own contracts (redlining, alignment with stakeholders, negotiation with suppliers, interaction with Legal dept.) up to final execution</li> <li>Ensure executed contracts are properly uploaded in the contract repository</li> <li>Support implementing new contracts, and uploading metadata to contract database</li> <li>Participate in Global/Regional Commodity supplier review and internal meetings with TE Stakeholders as required</li> <li>Provide commodity specific training to new joiners (buyers)</li> <li>Ensure compliance with applicable TE policies</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine</li> <li>Build relationship with key stakeholders including suppliers</li> <li>Build strong relationship with Commodity Management &amp; Buyers</li> <li>Attend team meetings and trainings as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Good Experience in Indirect Procurement responsible for SNS (5+ years)</li> <li>Good of MS office; very good Excel and other relevant tools for the function</li> <li>SAP PR2, S/4</li> <li>Good communication and organization skills </li> <li>Contract Management Literacy</li> <li>Very good English language skills in speech and writing</li> <li>Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred</li> <li>Good command of other languages is a very important asset</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
