WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Sourcing Systems & Data Governance Senior Manager
We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-driven professional to lead Sourcing Systems, Data Governance, and Process Excellence initiatives. This role will act as the bridge between Sourcing, IT, and Data/Analytics teams, owning the roadmap for systems enhancement, data integrity, and AI enablement.
The ideal candidate will ensure that sourcing processes are digitally enabled, data is trusted and governed, and advanced analytics/AI tools are effectively embedded to drive value creation and decision-making confidence among sourcing managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Technology & Systems Ownership
- Own and continuously enhance sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., ERP, eSourcing, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics tools).
- Partner with IT to define, prioritize, and deliver system enhancements aligned with sourcing needs.
- Serve as the product owner for sourcing-related systems, ensuring usability, scalability, and adoption.
- Drive system integrations across procurement, finance, and supplier ecosystems.
Data Accuracy, Governance & Master Data Management
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks for sourcing and supplier data.
- Ensure high data quality across spend, supplier, contract, and performance datasets.
- Define standards for data taxonomy, classification, and reporting consistency.
- Partner with IT and data teams to implement data validation, cleansing, and automation workflows.
- Act as a steward for sourcing data, ensuring single source of truth across systems.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Map, standardize, and optimize sourcing processes across categories and regions.
- Identify inefficiencies and lead process re-engineering initiatives leveraging automation and digital tools.
- Develop and track KPIs related to cycle times, compliance, and data quality.
- Drive adoption of best practices and ensure alignment with enterprise procurement policies.
- Lead change management efforts to embed new tools and processes within sourcing teams.
- Serve as project manager for projects from developing charter to launch.
AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement
- Define and execute a roadmap to integrate AI/ML-driven insights into sourcing workflows.
- Collaborate with data science and IT teams to deploy use cases such as:
- Predictive spend analytics
- Supplier risk modeling
- Market intelligence automation
- Negotiation insights and scenario modeling
- Ensure sourcing managers trust and actively use AI-driven insights by improving data reliability and transparency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to continuously advance sourcing capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between Sourcing, IT, Finance, and Data/Analytics teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa.
- Support sourcing managers with actionable insights, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Facilitate governance forums to align priorities, track progress, and manage stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, with strong exposure to digital tools and data analytics.
- Proven experience working closely with IT teams on system implementations or enhancements.
- Strong understanding of data governance, master data management, and reporting frameworks.
- Experience with sourcing/procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Jaggaer, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement and change management initiatives.
- Experience with AI/ML or advanced analytics tools in a procurement or supply chain context.
- Knowledge of automation technologies (RPA, workflow tools).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into business value.

What We Offer
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $131,000 - $172,200 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
