It is key that you are a self-motivated professional with strong work ethic, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills, and are ready to add value to our team on day one.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Connecting you to great benefits</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Weekly Paychecks</li> <li>Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays</li> <li>Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)</li> <li>401(k) w/ Company Match</li> <li>Stock Purchase Plan</li> <li>Education Reimbursement</li> <li>Legal Insurance</li> <li>Discounts on gym memberships,  pet insurance, and much more!</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you’ll do</b></H2> </div><div><p>Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitors all fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Evaluates equipment for condition and risk factors according to state and Federal DOT requirements, as well as internal operating procedures and processes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Troubleshoots repair problems, reviews work orders, and provides cost estimates, technical direction and assistance. </p> </li> <li> <p>Tracks and coordinates warranty repairs and maintenance agreements for outside repair in conjunction with company guidelines.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provides continuous oversight for asset accountability and ongoing process improvement initiatives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assigns trucks to UtiliQuest employees and maintains equipment distribution lists, along with fuel cards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitors compliance/reporting as it relates to the vehicle fleet; procure state required certificates of title, insurances, and arrange for registrations and state inspections.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinates internal title transfers on vehicles transferred from one state to another state and newly purchased vehicles.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conducts periodic vehicle and equipment inspections across the Florida region, including 30-50% travel to field locations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manages physical assets (e.g., machinery, vehicles, equipment, supplies). Evaluates, obtains and allocates physical asset resources, maximizes their use and projects future asset needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manages and establishes working relationships with vendors and corporate representatives (e.g., suppliers, consultants, contractors)</p> </li> <li> <p>Acts as the point of contact on all vehicle violations and toll queries within the assigned area, and collaborates with Fleet Administrative Assistant on timely payments.</p> </li> <li> <p>Applies critical thinking skills to understand problems, analyze facts and anticipate results to make decisions based on available information and meet deadlines. </p> </li> <li> <p>Maintains ongoing records for fleet assets with strong attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy. </p> </li> <li> <p>Promotes and maintains a strong safety culture and ensures quality standards are being met.</p> </li> <li> <p>Operates company vehicles in a safe manner and maintains a professional appearance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you’ll need</b></H2> </div><div><p>Required skills for success:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED equivalency required.  </p> </li> <li> <p>One (1) or more years of experience in automotive fleet services, logistics or related experience required. </p> </li> <li> <p>Prior experience with title and registration compliance in a fleet setting is preferred. </p> </li> <li> <p>Working knowledge of Lease Plan or Fleet Management Systems preferred. </p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with vehicle repair and maintenance, collision repair and systems/components design preferred</p> </li> <li> <p>ASE Certification is a plus.</p> </li> <li> <p>Valid State driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company. </p> </li> <li> <p>Must be able to pass pre-employment drug requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Suite with the ability to learn new systems and software related to the role. </p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to travel 30-50% of the time, locally or within the assigned region. </p> </li> <li> <p>Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to project professionalism in client and employee interactions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborative approach and friendly attitude when supporting Teams.</p> </li> </ul> <p>#IND1</p></div></div></div><p><strong>The wage range for Specialist Fleet Services - Birmingham is $23.00</strong> <strong> - $26.00</strong><strong>.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why work with us</strong><br>Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
