Job Summary
Responsible for collaborating with business partners and identifying business problems. Recommend solutions with new or existing processes, applications, systems, programs, or software. Will manage and drive multiple primary assignments and handle complex issues/requests. Will act as the primary contact as a business relationship manager that will become a subject matter expert in operations data for Safety, People, Quality, Service, or Cost.Job Description
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Supports requirements gathering and discovery workshops with our business stakeholders.
- Conducts current state assessments of business processes and supporting systems.
- Performs gap and data analysis in support of identifying improvement opportunities.
- Supports Technical Leads and developers by providing functional clarification and setting expectations with team and business.
- Documents socializes, and triages issues, defects, and enhancement requests.
- Elicit and document requirements, and creates logical system specifications and/or wireframes, change requests, test cases, user guides, training materials, and strategy roadmaps.
- Create process/data flows to create a visual representation of requirements
- Executing test cases and ensuring the overall quality of the solution is a plus.
- Perform System configurations
- Independently identify, research, and resolve open design questions
- Provide functional and technical support for production systems
Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate the team's Scrum ceremonies, i.e. Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog grooming.
- Liaise with the Product Owner and the Business Analysts in order to ensure completeness and clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Guiding the team on how to get the most of out of self-organization.
- Guiding the team on the Agile Scrum methodology in order to constantly improve the Scrum team's standards of work.
- Managing relationships and communicating with the project sponsor, senior management and other project contributors
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive those from idea to implementation.
Work Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Information Technology from an accredited university
- 6-8 + years of experience related to Business Analyst / Scrum Master or Technical Analyst within an IT technology environment
- Understand the path to purchase and flow of data between systems in an e-commerce environment
- Hands-on experience working on Enterprise e-commerce applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Technical understanding of complex Enterprise Web and Mobile Application development and deployment concepts
- Experience in an Agile Environment (using Jira, Confluence)
- Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced technical environment
- Proficient with SQL
- Understand the fundamentals of DevOps/Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
- Some development in Java, HTML, and Javascript
- Experience in working onshore-offshore model/Global teams.
- Work experience in ecommerce domain is a plus
- Experience working with Oracle Web Commerce (ATG / Endeca/BoomReach) is a big plus.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Information Technology from an accredited university
- Assist in creating user stories for the sprint
- Assist the Business Team with UAT testing of the stories
- Facilitate sprint grooming meetings with the project team
- Participate with Product Owner and Product Grooming processes.
