Position Summary:
TurningPoint Healthcare Solutions is seeking an analytical, business-minded, and driven Senior Financial Analyst to support decision-making, financial planning, and operational performance across the organization. This role will partner closely with Operations, Clinical, Technology, and Leadership teams to provide actionable insights that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, business case development, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven healthcare environment and possesses a strong ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful recommendations for leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Drive the development and maintenance of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and historical trends.
- Identify key drivers impacting revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
- Prepare monthly financial packages and executive-level reporting materials.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business opportunities.
- Effectively communicate financial results and key business insights to cross-functional partners and finance leadership.
Business Partnership & Strategic Support
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to departmental leaders across the organization.
- Partner with operational and clinical teams to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support pricing analyses, client contract evaluations, and profitability assessments.
- Develop business cases and ROI analyses for new programs, products, and technology investments.
- Assist leadership in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
Reporting & Analytics
- Create and maintain dashboards and KPIs that measure operational and financial performance.
- Analyze healthcare utilization, claims, authorization, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses and recommendations to executives and department leaders.
- Enhance reporting processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and financial controls.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices across the Finance organization.
- Support maintenance and optimization of financial planning and business intelligence tools.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial reporting platforms.
Compliance & Governance
- Support monthly close activities through financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist with audit preparation and requests.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or related areas.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities.
- Experience in preparing executive-level presentations and financial reports.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred
- Healthcare, managed care, health services, or healthcare technology experience.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced certifications.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience supporting private equity-backed organizations.
- Experience in financial systems, with preferred proficiency in NetSuite ERP, NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB), and/or Oracle Essbase.
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement, utilization management, value-based care, or population health models.
