What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for the development of Reporting models and internal reports to support deliverables for a variety of different partners including others in Finance. The role assists in preparing deliverables to be presented to the Personal & Business Banking SBU, Capital Markets and Corp & Other SBU / LOB Executive Teams and CIBC CFO Teams. As a member of a Finance Operations organization, team members must have strong problem solving skills with a view to getting results quickly and effectively communicating these results.

How You’ll Succeed
- Financial and Management Reporting - Manage timely and accurate month-end production including review of detailed monthly and quarterly consolidated analysis to support data integrity for use by senior management/executive team. Respond to ad hoc financial information and analysis requests from senior management and/or various business unit stakeholders.
- Analysis - Analyze and interpret LOBs results as well as provide strategic/value-added insight and for identifying any issues that should be brought forth to senior level management. Consolidating and analyzing the performance reporting and competitive Market Share results to present in meaningful form for Executive Management.
- Ad-Hoc Projects - Work on ad hoc projects and analysis as required, to be presented in a well-organized, professional manner to Senior Executives.
- Operational Effectiveness - Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. Participate and/or lead Centralization, Rationalization, Standardization and Optimization efforts as required. Communicate partner needs, system requirements and data integrity issues to both direct reports and senior management in a timely manner to ensure responsive, high quality reporting.
