Who YOU are:Â
- Bachelorâs degree and 5 plus yearsâ experience in a similar role at a financial institution.
- CAMS or CFE certification preferred
- Expert in identifying fraud red flags, reviewing transaction data, and managing fraud investigations.
- Skilled in review of unusual activities, case management, investigations, CDD, EDD, SAR documentation and reporting, CTR reviews, Sanctions/OFAC program requirements, and related regulation areas.Â
- Proficiency in using Fraud and BSA/AML transaction monitoring systems & case management systems
- Strong understanding of financial transactions (check, wire, cards, ACH, etc.) and financial accounts (savings, checking, loans, etc.)
What YOUâLL do:
- Execute the Credit Union's Financial Crimes Program by performing independent investigations of suspected suspicious activities that may relate to, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and fraud.
- Develop and maintain reporting related to alerts, case volume, SAR filing, fraud losses.
- Perform CDD, EDD, high risk customer monitoring, CTR reviews and filing, and related activities.
- Support regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews related to fraud and AML risk.
- Stay abreast of current laws and of regulations to ensure compliance with the BSA/AML and Sanctions regulations.
- Assist employees of the Credit Union with any financial crimes related questions or concerns.
