Sr Logistics Analyst
The Senior Logistics Analyst, India ā RAS is responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day logistics operations for the Refrigerants and Applied Solutions (RAS) business in India, while supporting the continued growth and expansion of the RAS business in the India market.
This position reports directly to the APAC Logistics Manager.
The role covers inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, inventory coordination, logistics service provider management, and logistics management of ISO tanks, cylinders, and other packaging types.
As the RAS business continues to grow in India, this position will play an important role in developing and implementing local logistics capabilities, including potential third-party cylinder and ISO tank warehouse solutions, tolling operations, and other logistics infrastructure projects. The role will also support logistics solutions in compliance with applicable Indian regulatory and licensing requirements, including PESO requirements and related licenses and certificates.
This position will serve as a key logistics representative for the RAS business in India and will also provide backup support for broader India logistics operations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Operations & Business Growth Support
- Manage and coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities for the RAS business in India, including ocean, air and road transportation, warehouse operations, and logistics management of ISO tanks, cylinders, and other packaging types.
- Coordinate with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, warehouses, customs brokers, carriers, tollers, and other external partners to ensure timely, safe, compliant, and cost-effective execution.
- Monitor OTD and OTP performance. Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery and proactively manage delays, exceptions, and operational issues.
- Manage 3rd party warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, outbound delivery, inventory movements, inventory accuracy and stock counting.
- Support import/export and customs clearance activities in coordination with the Asia Trade Compliance team, customs brokers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support logistics activities related to dangerous goods and RAS products in accordance with company requirements and applicable Indian regulations.
- Support the growth and expansion of the RAS business in India by developing and implementing logistics solutions for new products, customers, and evolving business requirements.
- Support the evaluation, development, and implementation of third-party warehouse solutions for cylinders and ISO tanks, including operational requirements, cost analysis, provider evaluation, and implementation.
- Support potential tolling operations and toller-related logistics projects, including material flows, transportation, inventory movements, operational setup, and coordination with external partners.
- Support logistics network design and optimization as the RAS business footprint in India expands.
- Work with HSE, Product Stewardship, Trade Compliance, Sourcing, and other relevant functions to ensure logistics operations and new logistics solutions meet applicable regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.
- Support the assessment and implementation of PESO requirements, licenses, certificates, and other regulatory requirements applicable to the storage, transportation, and handling of RAS products, cylinders, and ISO tanks.
- Serve as a key logistics contact for RAS India and coordinate closely with the APAC Logistics team and regional/global stakeholders.
- Provide backup support for India logistics operations to ensure business continuity and operational coverage when required.
- Maintain appropriate logistics documentation, records, and SOPs in accordance with company requirements and applicable regulations.
- Participate in regional and global RAS logistics projects and support implementation in India.

- Logistics Service Provider Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with logistics service providers, warehouses, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, tollers, and transportation providers.
- Monitor logistics service provider performance, including service quality, delivery performance, operational compliance, and cost.
- Coordinate resolution of service issues and drive corrective and preventive actions with service providers when required.
- Support logistics invoice review, freight cost analysis, purchase requisitions, and other related administrative processes.
- Support service provider evaluation, selection, implementation, and continuous performance improvement.

- Support logistics cost analysis, productivity initiatives, and business cases for new logistics solutions and projects.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, or import/export operations.
- Good understanding of India logistics, import/export processes, customs clearance, and related regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of PESO requirements and relevant licenses/certificates for the storage, transportation, and handling of dangerous goods, cylinders, and ISO tanks in India is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, tollers, and other external partners.
- Experience with ISO tank and cylinder logistics, particularly for refrigerants, chemicals, or dangerous goods, is preferred.
- Experience in third-party warehouse setup, logistics network development, tolling operations, or similar logistics projects is preferred.
- Experience in the chemical, specialty materials, refrigerants, or dangerous goods industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation, storage, and handling requirements is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational and project priorities.
