Sr Product Marketing Manager, Cloud Data Protection

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Rubrik's Marketing team is growing, and we're looking for people to join us at a pivotal moment in our journey — as a public company helping to define the cyber resilience category. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">We're seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sr Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for our cloud data protection solution area. This "full-stack" PMM role calls for an experienced, self-motivated professional who can shape strategy in collaboration with leadership and execute cross-functionally to drive measurable outcomes for the cloud data protection business.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The ideal candidate aligns with executive vision, translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, and works closely with sales, product management, and other marketing teams to ensure cohesive, successful execution.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Key responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and define strategy: Partner with leadership to build a comprehensive product marketing strategy for the cloud data protection solution area, aligned to overall business objectives. Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer research to identify opportunities and threats.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Product positioning: Craft compelling, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with target buyers, emphasizing Rubrik's cyber resilience capabilities across cloud.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Go-to-market (GTM) execution: Own and execute GTM plans for launches and campaigns in your solution area — including sales enablement, promotional campaigns, and competitive positioning — to drive adoption and market penetration of Rubrik's cloud solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Content and communications: Produce high-impact content and assets — core collateral, thought leadership, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, presentations, and sales plays — that translate complex technical concepts into clear customer benefits. Use AI tools to accelerate research and content production.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Competitive and analyst positioning: Maintain deep competitive intelligence and support analyst engagements (e.g., Gartner) to strengthen Rubrik's position in the cloud data protection landscape.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with sales, sales enablement, product management, customer marketing, field marketing, partner marketing, and demand generation to align on objectives, share insights, and drive cohesive strategies.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Qualifications</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Education: BA/BS degree. MBA is a plus.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">4–7 years in technology, strategy, consulting, or a marketing-related discipline, with at least 2 years in a product marketing or product management capacity.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in B2B go-to-market.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments is highly desirable.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in cybersecurity — ideally data security, cloud security, or data protection.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Fluency with Claude Cowork to accelerate research, content, and GTM execution.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A resourceful, action- and detail-oriented approach with a high-ownership mindset and a track record of measurable impact.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Success in this role: measurable impact on revenue growth, sales effectiveness, and market awareness for the cloud data protection area</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">#LI-Remote</span></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits.
