Technology Risk & Governance Analyst Want to help develop how a global organization handles its external digital presence and technology risk activities? Are you interested in working at the intersection of governance, risk, compliance, technology, and business operations? In this role, you will drive enterprise governance processes, improve data quality, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and offer insight into risk and compliance activities throughout the organization. This is a fully remote role based in the United States, with flexibility to work virtually. What the day will look like You'll contribute significantly to the Website Governance Program and the overall Technology Risk & Governance efforts, covering risk management, reporting, compliance coordination, governance operations, and initiatives aimed at refining processes. A typical day could include: Coordinate website governance intake requests and guide submissions through established governance workflows. Partner with Technology, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Marketing, and other business partners to support governance reviews, compliance activities, and risk-related initiatives. Maintain inventories of external websites, domains, subdomains, and related digital assets while performing data quality, ownership validation, and reconciliation activities. Track approvals, action items, remediation efforts, and operational requirements through completion. Coordinate and improve workflows, SharePoint solutions, inventories, reporting repositories, and other governance tools. Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, reports, executive updates, and recurring operational and risk reporting. Respond to audit, compliance, and regulatory inquiries by gathering information, coordinating business partners, and tracking follow-up actions. Support risk management activities, including issue monitoring, mitigation planning, assessment coordination, and status updates. Assist with special projects, process improvements, automation initiatives, and other Technology Risk & Governance priorities. Support business partner engagement, team communications, procedures, training materials, and operational documentation. How this opportunity is different As a Technology Risk & Governance Analyst, you will help maintain and refine governance processes that support risk management, compliance, operational oversight, reporting, and digital asset governance throughout the organization. You will work in a highly collaborative environment: Coordinate with business and Technology collaboratorspartners to coordinate support governance activities, reviews, approvals, and remediation efforts. Collaborate with Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Marketing teams to facilitate governance processes and compliance requirements. Assist Technology Risk & Governance leaders by providing reporting, managing governance operations, and handling program administration. Work closely with process owners and project teams to improve workflows and operational effectiveness. The role offers a chance to aid the ongoing development and advancement of the Website Governance Program while contributing to wider Technology Risk & Governance efforts. Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience: 3+ years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, project coordination, technology operations, business operations, or related fields. Risk & Compliance Support: Experience assisting with risk management efforts, compliance initiatives, assessments, remediation tracking, audit responses, regulatory inquiries, or governance procedures. Stakeholder Management & Operational Coordination: Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives, managing action items, supporting governance reviews, facilitating business partner engagement, and driving activities through completion. Workflow & Platform Experience: Experience using Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Lists, Microsoft Forms, ServiceNow, Power Platform, or similar workflow, inventory management, and governance solutions. Process Improvement & Automation: Experience finding opportunities to improve processes, automate manual activities, enhance reporting capabilities, and increase operational efficiency. Digital & Technology Awareness: Familiarity with website technologies, domains, DNS, content management systems (CMS), digital asset inventories, web analytics, or related technologies. Reporting & Analysis: Experience developing dashboards, benchmark and risk indicator reporting, management reporting, executive presentations, and operational metrics. Communication & Organization: Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams. Education Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Project Management, Risk Management, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience. The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is [$90000-115000] annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
