About the Role

This Sr Workday Analyst will be responsible for ongoing support and maintenance for the functional areas of Workday. You will have specific expertise with using and maintaining systems, solving complex problems, data management, and will lead functional stakeholders through risk and impact analysis of Core HCM enhancements and change requests. You will make decisions about system issues relating, but not limited to, business processes and system configuration, ensuring global compliance with business and statutory requirements, and integration impacts.

In this role you will be a trusted liason between business users and the technology leveraging your knowlege of Human Resource and specialized systems expertise. You will work with HR functional leaders, vendors and/or IT on activities related to designing, implementing and maintaining core human resource technologies.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Administer and configure Workday modules, ensuring alignment with business needs and managing updates and enhancements. 
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and conduct training sessions to help users effectively utilize the Workday platform. 
  • Support the domain lead for various functional areas of Workday who will provide oversight and work direction. Analyze, design, and configure features and functions within Workday modules
  • Participate in functional and regression testing for enhancements, projects, and upgrades.
  • Combines Human Resource and specialized system knowledge to recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new features for systems.
  • Provides analysis and consultation related to programs, policies and practices that obtain, record, and process worker information or HR support related data.
  • Analyzes technology capabilities to produce information used to maximize and sustain workforce productivity and effectively deliver HR support to the global organization.
  • Develops a strong understanding of our HR strategic priorities, the HR technology landscape & IT’s priorities.
  • Process day-to-day security assignments, including evaluating the request for alignment with work responsibilities, obtaining approvals, and ensuring proper documentation for audit support.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and resolve complex system issues. 
  • Proficiency in Workday configuration, reporting tools, and data management. Experience with Workday HCM or Finance modules is often essential. 
  • Keep up-to-date with new Workday releases and industry best practices to recommend system improvements. 
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of HRIS projects, including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and deployment of new features. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical users. 
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and ensure successful system adoption. 
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver custom reports and analytics, and establish protocols for data integrity and regular audits. 
  • Ability to manage projects, coordinate testing activities, and ensure projects stay on schedule. 
  • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting system issues and identifying opportunities for process optimization.  Connecting case management data with employee data within Workday to provide case solvers with a comprehensive view of the employee's situation.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$87,000.00 - $149,000.00

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).


 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
