Staff Data Engineer

The experimentation team builds and maintains the Intuit experimentation Platform, an enterprise-wide capability for moving rapidly and reliably from hypothesis to action. At Intuit, all teams (TurboTax,Credit Karma, and QuickBooks to name a few) use IXP. Our aim is to give every individual at Intuit a voice by providing them a platform where they can test their ideas and have data from their experiments backing their ideas.
Responsibilities
You will partner closely with a world-class org of Engineering, ML, Search, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics practitioners who work together to create a variety of capabilities for Intuit to be more successful in its decision-making and product creation
You will help drive innovations through effective identification and application of analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning
This is a high-impact role in which you will have a direct influence on how product decisions are made
Effectively identify and apply analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning techniques for given business problems
Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of experiments Proactively perform data exploration on engagement behaviors to discover future opportunities
Identify, compute and validate the appropriate metrics to measure success in a product area
Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders from product, engineering, operations, design, consumer research, etc
Present your research and insights to all levels of the company
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Engineering or related technical field
Bachelor's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience programing in Java or Python
Proficient with unstructured data and turning raw data into a usable, high-quality dataset ready for effective use
Strong proficiency in visualization tools with hands-on experience building complex dashboards in Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI.
Proven track records of developing and managing complex analytics data mart and data pipelines is a must-have.
Demonstrated experience with big data tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop or Databricks.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Experience in applying advanced analytics techniques such as python, ML models, LLM, etc., is a plus.
Ability to create analytical framework for solving complex business problems with proven track record.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives.
Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical. Be able to communicate effectively with senior executives.
