onsemi is seeking a highly analytical, business-savvy, and detail-oriented professional to join as a Staff Demand Planning Analyst. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence through data-driven planning, strategic forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the semiconductor supply chain and demand planning, and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights.

We’re looking for someone who is sharp with numbers, strong in interpersonal communication, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end demand planning process across products, customers, and regions.
  • Develop and continuously refine forecast models to support revenue attainment and alignment with supply capabilities.
  • Lead and contribute to weekly revenue reviews, providing clear insights on forecast vs. actual performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Act as pricing owner for assigned portfolio—monitor price execution, analyze margin impact, and partner with Sales and Product Marketing to optimize pricing strategies and profitability.
  • Drive active and structured communication with Sales and Analytics teams to capture real-time market signals, customer demand shifts, and pricing dynamics; ensure all insights are translated into actionable inputs for Product Marketing.
  • Align closely with Sales on key customer forecast changes to ensure responsiveness and agility in demand adjustments.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in demand projections and provide data-driven mitigation strategies to protect revenue and inventory health.
  • Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-range strategic planning with robust, data-driven demand projections.
  • Analyze historical trends, customer behavior, market signals, and channel dynamics to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market sizing frameworks (TAM, SAM, SOM) to inform demand assumptions, growth opportunities, and strategic planning decisions.
  • Understand key margin drivers and incorporate pricing, mix, and demand signals into planning decisions to optimize business outcomes.
  • Present complex analytics, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, structured, and impactful manner.
  • Own distribution channel management, including monitoring POS, backlog, and sell-in/sell-through dynamics to ensure alignment with true market demand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand or supply planning, forecasting, or business analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Blue Yonder, Kinaxis).
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to align and coordinate across teams.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry and channel business models.
