Job Summary
IT Sr. Analyst – Storage Ensures stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IT storage systems that support core organizational functions. Responsibilities may include the design, implementation, and support of storage systems and platforms. The individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
How You'll Create Impact
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage capacity/resources as it relates to global enterprise storage platforms.
- Monitor the health and analyze performance of global enterprise storage platforms.
- Provides directions to peers, junior team membrs and/or external consultants.
- Consistently applies the concepts of appropriate standard methodologies and best practices.
- Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected.

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills and abilities)
- Expert ability to independently architect and deploy storage solutions distributed across several datacenters
- Able to provide Level 3 escalation for support and maintenance-related activities: Installation, maintenance, upgrades and break-fix support issues
- Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills with priority setting and delegation skills
- Strong working knowledge of network technologies, including VLANs, Virtual Switches, DNS & DHCP
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively across team/geographical/functional boundaries
- Understands and has ability to manage data center facilities environment (rack\ cable\ power)
What Makes You Stand Out
Preferred:
- Technical IT certifications a plus – EMC, Pure, ITIL or VMware
- Scripting Knowledge a plus – Python, PowerShell, Native CLI Scripting, etc.
- 2+ Years’ Experience with other Storage Platforms – Preferred
-IBM, NetApp, etc. - 2+ Years’ Experience with Data Center Facility Management
-Rack, Cable, Power & Environmental Controls
2+ Years’ Experience with Backup and DR Experience

Your Background
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required with at least 5+ years of professional experience.
- 5+ Years’ hands-on design, implementation & system administration of DELL, Pure & Brocade, storage platforms: (I.e. PowerMax, PowerStore, Pure FlashArray, & Brocade Directors)
- 4+ Year’s hands-on Design, implementation and system administrator of NAS Object & File Systems: (I.e PowerScale and\or FlashBlade)
- 4+ Years of demonstrated success leading IT projects of medium to large complexity at the global and regional level
- 3+ Years of experience managing & maintaining Microsoft Windows OR Linux OR VMWare platforms
