As we scale manufacturing, engineering, and commercial operations, financial precision and capital discipline are critical to enabling responsible, high-velocity expansion. The Strategic Finance Analyst will serve as a key decision-support partner to senior leadership, strengthening enterprise forecasting, performance visibility, and capital allocation discipline across a capital-intensive, operationally complex environment. This role goes beyond traditional reporting — you will architect driver-based forecasting frameworks, enhance financial predictability, and influence cross-functional decision-making tied to growth, margin expansion, and operational performance. Designed for a high-performing early-to-mid career finance professional (2–4 years), ideally from Big 4 or a rigorous analytical background, this role offers the opportunity to transition from execution into strategic ownership with meaningful visibility and impact. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Drive enterprise planning processes, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial modeling.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Own and continuously refine integrated financial models to improve forecast accuracy, scenario planning capability, and decision confidence.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead structured variance analysis across revenue, margin, operating expense, working capital, and cash flow.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop executive level reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards that elevate performance transparency and accountability.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare and present decision ready financial materials for senior leadership and capital allocation discussions.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Engineering, and Accounting to align financial insights with operational execution.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support investment analysis, business case development, and strategic growth initiatives.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Identify and implement automation, standardization, and process improvements within FP&A systems and reporting infrastructure.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights that influence strategy and performance outcomes.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support onboarding new clients and ensure all documentation (e.g., NDAs) is complete.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Liaise with the Service team to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain positive customer relationships through professional, solution-oriented communication.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Help organize in-person customer meetings and visits to LiquidStack’s facilities.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain and organize sales documentation.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare and distribute sales materials as needed.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support account mapping with the extended commercial team through LinkedIn, industry publications, and other sources.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Collect and report marketing intelligence such as data center build announcements and target account data. </li> </ul> SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Specific Skills & Qualifications (Required) <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA track strongly preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">2–4 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting, corporate FP&A, transaction advisory, investment banking, or similar analytical roles.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong command of financial statements, accounting drivers, and enterprise performance metrics.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Advanced financial modeling capabilities, including scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and three-statement integration.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated experience developing executive ready reporting packages and KPI dashboards that drive performance accountability.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">High analytical rigor with the ability to synthesize complex financial and operational data.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven ability to operate independently, assume ownership, and deliver in a high-growth, evolving environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and non-finance leaders. </li> </ul> Preferred Skills & Experience <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience operating in a capital intensive, operational, manufacturing, or technology driven organization.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Exposure to working capital optimization, cost discipline, or margin expansion initiatives.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience supporting structured forecasting processes in a high-growth environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiar with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with financial planning and BI tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Pigment, Power BI, Tableau, Looker).</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated orientation toward automation, data integrity, and continuous performance improvement. </li> </ul> Growth & Development This role is structured as a launchpad into senior strategic finance leadership.
