Strategy & Programs Analyst
Global Sales Services & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales & services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.
About this role:
The Strategy and Programs team is part of the Service Technology team in GSSO, equivalent to an incubation center for MVP solutions / proofs of concept aimed at solving high business impact, unstructured problem statements. The team works with cross-functional partners including but not limited to front-line Services, Sales and R&A to improve value delivery to Gartner’s clients and/or improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of Gartner’s internal processes.
What you’ll do:
- Drive higher retention and improve engagement by collaborating with and empowering Global service delivery groups through innovation programs
- Contribute towards continuous idea pipeline – create, compile, and help analyze ideas for service improvement
- Continually engage with global stakeholders to incubate pilots and problem-solve for effectiveness
- Drive change management and enablement on new pilots across service teams
- Conduct current state assessments and diagnostics to identify gaps, opportunity areas and suggest target state design
- Liaise efficiently with internal stakeholders and senior management, and efficiently structure communications, business analysis and professional presentations
- Develop a passion for the client perspective and bring it to your projects as a north star. Understand the perspective of the services associate. Understand the world from their point of view, develop a passion for making them amazingly successful at everything they do!
- Lead & own day to day project management of key initiatives for the organization as either tracks within a program or independent
What you’ll need:
- Graduate program in any stream having up to 4 years of work experience
- Hands on experience in strategy, consulting, or analytics
- Training in disciplines and programs with a strong business, IT, and analytics affiliation
- Advanced proficiency MS Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of Python or PowerBI would be a plus
- Original/creative thinking and superior problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and strong commitment to high quality results to serve needs of Gartner clients, internal partners/stakeholders and service delivery teams
- Orientation towards continuous process improvement. Ability to analyze the process at granular level to come up with optimized approach.
- Strong influence skills and ability to build effective partnerships with services groups within Gartner.
