The main products working with will include, Skid Steer, Compact Track Loader Tractor Loader Backhoes, Wheel Loaders, Compact Loaders, Motor Graders, Crawlers and Mini Excavators. </p> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Support during concept phase and final virtual validations of mechanical components and/or assemblies for construction machinery vehicles (all SSL, CTL, WL,TLB...)</li> <li>Perform structural (linear, non-linear, dynamic) simulations using FEA tools or calculation spreadsheet</li> <li>Prepare the FE models according to DA&S simulation procedures</li> <li>Determine structural loads to be used for the FEA validation, by specific analysis tools or by hand calculation</li> <li>Provide design proposals to Engineering team to improve or optimize the structural behavior of components/assemblies</li> <li>Simulation tasks management through Integrated Validation Plan and CTS system</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>You will execute simulations to validate components and / or systems using FEA tools and perform the following types of analysis:</p> <ul> <li>Static FE analysis, linear and non- linear (mainly isotropic materials)</li> <li>Modal, Sinusoidal & Random vibration analysis</li> <li>Weld fatigue analysis (spot weld, seam weld)</li> <li>Parent material strength and durability analysis</li> <li>Durability analysis, using specific fatigue codes (NCode)</li> <li>Structural optimization</li> <li>Strain gauging and accelerometer test data processing</li> </ul> <p>#LI-JB1</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Experience Required</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similiar</li> <li>Three plus years of prior work experience in nonlinear FEA and fatigue analysis of on-road or off-road vehicle components</li> <li>Three plus years of prior work experience with the following: Abaqus and Abaqus Explicit FEA software, Hypermesh, and Optistruct software, Fatigue Software such as Ncode, Mechanical principles, kinematics, structural materials, and standard vehicle components.</li> <li>Three plus years of industrial experience in construction, agricultural, automotive or aerospace business</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>The ideal Candidate will have:</li> <li>A positive attitude, strong drive to achieve goals and succeed,</li> <li>Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in new global processes and systems.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details</li> <li>A working knowledge of general computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.)</li> <li>Experience in structural design, rubber component design, ride quality & NVH a plus.</li> <li>Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering</li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) issues, problems, and observations of work being performed.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work with cross discipline teams as well as being a strong individual contributor.</li> <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision managing multiple projects and tasks.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Pay Transparency</b></H2> </div><div><p>The annual salary for this role is USD $74,625.00 - $114,425.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)</p> <p>For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location.
