The role works closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability. It also ensures alignment with company standards by leveraging quality systems, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.</div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><p><u>Supplier Development &amp; Improvement</u></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Lead cross-functional teams to develop and improve supplier capabilities, ensuring alignment with TE’s strategic goals in quality, cost, delivery, technology, and sustainability</li> </ul> <p><u>Strategic Leadership &amp; Cross-Functional Coordination</u></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Drive supplier development initiatives by working with Sourcing, SQE, MPDE, Engineering, and other stakeholders to assess, qualify, and improve suppliers</li> <li>Facilitate alignment across functions (e.g., Quality audit standards, Procurement requirements, Engineering specifications) to ensure consistent supplier expectations</li> </ul> <p><u>Supplier Qualification &amp; Onboarding</u></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Own the new supplier pre-assessment process and lead onboarding programs</li> <li>Coordinate with Quality, Procurement, and Engineering to validate supplier capability</li> <li>Monitor supplier performance during the first 3 months post-onboarding (quality, delivery, service KPIs) until full compliance is achieved</li> </ul> <p><u>Approved Supplier Management &amp; Performance Improvement</u></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Lead cross-functional supplier improvement workshops for critical suppliers (e.g., CoPQ reduction, lead-time optimization)</li> <li>Track progress and escalate gaps in accountability across functions</li> <li>Deliver supplier training programs on TE systems and procedures in collaboration with subject matter experts</li> </ul> <p><u>Support Quality &amp; Continuous Improvement</u></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Provide support in issue resolution using structured problem-solving methodologies</li> <li>Conduct system and process audits when required to maintain quality standards</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><div> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>Minimum of 8-15 years’ experience in quality management within connector and cable assembly; procurement exposure is a plus</li> <li>Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Lean tools, and other industry standards, with ISO 9001 auditor certification preferred</li> <li>Solid experience in project-based environments, with strong understanding of material management systems and matrix organizations</li> <li>Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes such as molding, stamping, mechanical assembly, PCBA, or die casting</li> <li>Expert in supplier APQP tools, including PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, R&amp;R, and 8D methodology</li> <li>Strong problem-solving capability using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa), and Fault Tree Analysis</li> <li>Good understanding of MES systems, delivery improvement, and basic GD&amp;T principles</li> <li>Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and regions</li> <li>Proven ability to coach and develop suppliers, with solid business acumen in cost structure and breakdown analysis</li> </ul> </div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
