We are seeking a highly analytical Supply Chain Data Analyst to support critical supply chain, logistics, operations and growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to inform supply chain solutions, increase efficiencies, mitigate risk, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage to support supply chain and logistics business initiatives.
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis on data to generate insights to identify supply/demand forecasts, inventory requirements, readiness degraders, and other key supply chain metrics.
Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business managers
Evaluating, visualizing, and performing analysis on data sets
Working with existing modeling and simulation (M&S) tools to develop data for new AI/ML models
Recommends operational plans and strategies that will directly impact the achievement of overall functional resultsĀ
Responsible for improving existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretationĀ
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as operations research, math, engineering, data analytics
8+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, industrial base analysis or acquisition support.
8+ years of experience in using analytic tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau to perform data exploration and analysis.
Demonstrated experience using modeling and simulation tools for supply chain and logistics forecasting tools.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and research skills.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s).
Proven ability to utilize extensive analysis to seek understanding problems.
Strong collaboration skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
