Sustainability Carbon & Energy Intern (F/M/X)
Job Description
As a supporting member of the Group Sustainability Division, the Sustainability Intern will assist the Carbon & Energy VP across a range of missions, from carbon calculation and reporting to the development of operational tools for regions and brands.
1. Understanding Energy in Accor’s world
- Analyzing data to shed light on the differences in energy consumption across regions and brands
- Sharing insights on hotel energy consumption to identify trends across regions and hotel typologies
2. Organization of Energy Week
- Supporting the team in the structuring, planning and content creation for Energy Week, taking place in October
- Coordination through the different Region&Brands actions & support them
3. Project Structuring — Energy Audits
- Working closely with the team on the analysis and structuring of an energy audit database
- Exploring the added value and potential services that could be developed on this basis
- Developing a strategy for collecting and aggregating audit data, and creating value-added services for hotels based on these insights
4. CSRD – Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive Preparation
- Contribution to the drafting of the Transition Plan as part of the group's CSRD compliance roadmap
- Close collaboration with the Sustainable Finance team and internal project leads
- Support in structuring and formalizing content in line with CSRD regulatory requirements (ESRS standards)
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program (Sustainability, Energy, or related field), you speak fluent English and French and demonstrate:
- Strong interest in sustainability and corporate responsibility, with motivation to learn both strategic and operational aspects.
- Good communication and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize information clearly.
- Organizational abilities and attention to detail, capable of supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset, with curiosity to explore sustainability data and field insights.
- Team spirit and adaptability, comfortable working with diverse stakeholders across brands, regions, and functions.
- Creativity and initiative, eager to contribute ideas and support innovative sustainability engagement.
This is a 6-month internship contract, starting in September 2026, for an on-site mission based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France.
