Role Overview:

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a meaningful impact in the financial sector? We're looking for a Manager to support the development and execution of MeDirect’s ESG strategy. In this role, you'll collaborate across teams to drive ESG initiatives, manage data and reporting, and stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Leading the project management of strategic initiatives in relation to Climate-related and Environmental Risk (CER) & ESG strategies and disclosures;
  • Managing the monitoring and continuous development of the Group’s ESG strategy, particularly regarding data collection, analysis, reporting and communication;
  • Working across teams to support consistency in communication and disclosures in relation to sustainability across all reporting venues;
  • Tracking and managing CER & ESG inquiries from relevant stakeholders and coordinating responses with the appropriate departments;
  • Supporting development of systems to collect, manage, and enhance CER & ESG data aligned with the Group’s CER & ESG strategy and leading CER & ESG frameworks;
  • Following market trends, best practices, reporting frameworks and policy/regulation on CER & ESG disclosure and reporting requirements;
  • Managing the compilation of sustainability related disclosures, particularly Pillar III ESG report and other sustainability / non-financial reports;
  • Calculation of GHG emissions reporting data;
  • Supporting internal and external communications efforts; and
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary by the Head of Sustainability


Required knowledge, skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Banking or related area or equivalent technical knowledge, skills and/or experience of minimum 2 years in a similar role;
  • An excellent command of English, both written and verbal;
  • Interest in banking and ESG-related regulatory matters;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload
