System Integration and Test Engineer

This role is responsible for integrating complex hardware and software systems and executing comprehensive system-level testing to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in highly technical, cross-functional environments.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and execute system integration and testing activities for advanced communications platforms</li> <li>Perform hands-on integration of hardware and software subsystems, identifying and resolving interface and performance issues</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define integration requirements and address technical challenges</li> <li>Conduct system-level testing in controlled lab environments as well as field or over-the-air testing scenarios</li> <li>Analyze test results and provide clear documentation, reports, and actionable recommendations</li> <li>Track and communicate integration progress and status updates to stakeholders</li> <li>Develop and maintain automated test scripts and procedures to improve testing efficiency and coverage</li> <li>Support system verification, validation, and acceptance testing efforts<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field required; advanced degree preferred<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <p>A minimum of 0–3 years of experience in systems integration, testing, or related technical fields (e.g., communications, RF systems, or aerospace technologies)<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with wireless, RF, or satellite-based systems</li> <li>Familiarity with phased array or advanced communications technologies</li> <li>Exposure to regulated or mission-critical environments</li> <li>Experience supporting validation or customer acceptance testing processes</li> <li>Eligibility to obtain or maintain a security clearance (if required)<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse engineering teams</li> <li>Proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and think critically under pressure</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and reporting</li> <li>Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in testing and reporting deliverables</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Technology Stack:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Programming and analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or similar</li> <li>Test and measurement equipment for system validation</li> <li>Automation tools or scripting frameworks for test execution</li> <li>Data analysis and reporting tools</li> <li>General engineering design and collaboration platforms<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in a standard office, lab, or testing environment</li> <li>Ability to operate a computer and technical equipment for extended periods</li> <li>May require occasional lifting of light equipment or working in specialized test environments</li> </ul> <p><em>This job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
