The Digital Assets Technology team at Franklin Templeton is looking for a Systems Analyst to support innovation projects of small to large scale. Our team is focused on delivering technology to represent shares in mutual funds with tokens issued on blockchain platform(s) in a manner which permits live trading/exchange on a potentially worldwide and 24/7 basis. We support a mobile app focused on retail investors, a website focused on institutional investors and an internal admin tool for our customer support team. We have a variety of projects to enhance the current platform as well as projects to expand our reach outside the US and launch tokenized funds in Europe and Asia.
How will you add value?Solution Design:
Analyze, design, integrate, and implement solutions for existing applications, to include work processes, modifications, interfaces, and reports
Consult with users to streamline application work processes
Design interfaces and features for an existing application
Participate in creating technical solutions to maximize efficiencies
Production Support:
Provide Technical Support and service by researching, responding appropriately to, and resolving users’ technical and data issues
Work with the various technology teams to address technical issues
Participate in user group or technical meetings to identify and address on-going needs
Requirements Analysis:
Work with project teams to understand and clarify business requirements
Understand the modules and data model for an application and contributes to finalizing the business requirements
Implementation:
Coordinate implementation of changes to existing applications
Document configuration and participate in code reviews and walkthroughs
Prepare system test plans, test cases and scripts for a small-medium sized application
Perform system and regression testing and help with triage and clarification of issues uncovered in user acceptance testing for the application development team
Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as necessary
Gather information and create reports on application related metrics
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Mutual Fund/Financial Services Experience
2 to 4 years Systems Analyst or technical project experience, preferentially on small-sized IT projects
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of blockchain, tokenized funds and digital assets
Familiarity with a system development lifecycle methodology
Basic experience with the system testing process
Knowledge of desktop, client/server, web, and mainframe environments
Knowledge of technology industry standards and trends within area of expertise
Knowledge of technology platform architecture
Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to perform multiple, concurrent activities in a fast paced and multi-site, global team environment
Ability to interact with team members in a local, international and multi-site environment
Ability to maintain flexibility in a dynamic organization
Ability to represent the department and company in a professional manner at all times
Developing analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Solves routine problems of moderate scope and complexity, following established policies and procedures
Work Schedule & Location:
Singapore-based hybrid role with overlap required with Central European Time (CET) during training and as needed
