Tax Analyst

Need to ensure completion of SUT Compliance activities that includes preparation and filing of MFT & FET Tax returns and supporting Data for E&Y.

• Completion of Motor Fuel Tax and Federal Excise Tax returns within Jurisdiction timelines.
• Provide data of Sales and Use Tax liability to EY as per the agreed timelines
• “Nil” error in LA tax rate table update
• LA tax rate is updated as and when there is a tax rate change
• Completion of Canadian return worksheets as per agreed timelines
• Support review of “aged items” in NA tax accounts
• Regular review with Tax accounting team to understand the status of unreconciled accounts due to SL
• Ensure all data needed for Tax journals and payments are given to GBS Tax Accounting team
• Support SUT Audits
• Support Alwin analysis
