The role of the Tax Data Specialist is part of our Poznan Poland Shared Service Centre and will primarily support the data collection activities of the tax function, including optimization of data gathering, design, governance, implementation and roll-out of solutions that support LYB’s tax function.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>A Day in the Life</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Prepare the documentation of the Tax Team’s overall data needs and their interdependencies with other processes and stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute as a member of the Tax Process &amp; Data Excellence Team, being a direct contact for Tax Teams to address both recurring and ad hoc data requirements. Through this work, you will identify gaps and opportunities to implement solutions that respond to evolving legislative requirements and business needs.</li> <li>Analyze data, automate processes, and integrate systems to enhance operational efficiency.</li> <li>Develop and provide input into the overarching data management strategy for the Tax Department.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>You Bring This Value</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS/CIS, Data/Computer Science, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>3+  years of experience in a finance or accounting data analysis role with strong evidence of promoting innovation and efficiency by streamlining and standardizing business processes while leading others in an organization with similar operational scale and geographic footprint.</li> <li>A background in tax is not required. Strong candidates with the relevant skills from non‑tax backgrounds are encouraged to apply.</li> <li>Understanding of end-to-end financial data processes and their impact on systems and reporting (nice-to-have).</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with teams across multiple time zones.</li> <li>Ability to leverage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system configuration knowledge of SAP to extract data efficiently from the systems to support tax team processes and deliverables</li> <li>Experience working with large data sets and combining data from diverse sources, including designing and performing optimal data extraction and presentation.</li> <li>Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
