Overseeing a team responsible for maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and quality within the organization. This includes coordinating data governance initiatives, leading data integration projects, and ensuring compliance with data management policies.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance on data management best practices, and contribute to the development and implementation of MDM strategies.


Strong leadership, communication skills, and a deep understanding of data governance principles.


Other functions required but not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all data governance inquiries, issues, and requests
  • Define, document, and enforce policies and procedures related to the management of master data
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data quality control processes
  • Monitor data entry and update processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with relevant teams to implement changes
  • Train new and existing staff on the use of master data management tools and processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure buy-in and support for data governance initiatives
  • Create a culture where data is managed as a valuable corporate asset.
  • Participate in data governance committees and contribute to data strategy development.
  • Review data inputting and processes to ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Support planned and ad-hoc data analysis efforts and issue resolution for master data topics.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience โ€ข Proficiency in data analysis

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
  • Knowledge of data migration and data conversion processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Management Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • With 8 years of work experience in Master Data Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
  • Proficiency in MS Office - MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT applications.
  • Experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity and change and maintain high level of professionalism when working under pressure;
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills within a multi-cultural business environment.
