Technical Architect – Integration, Reports & Data
Role Overview
As a TE6 Technical Architect specializing in Integration, Reports, and Data, you will serve as a primary technical authority driving the end-to-end architecture across global enterprise systems. At the TE6 level, you will operate at the intersection of complex system integrations, modern data engineering, and enterprise BI reporting. You are responsible for defining technology roadmaps, designing scalable data pipelines, setting integration standards, and mentoring senior technical leads to ensure reliable, secure, high-performance execution.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy (Integration, Data, & Reporting):
Design scalable, fault-tolerant integration patterns (REST/GraphQL APIs, Event-Driven/Kafka, Enterprise Service Bus, ETL/ELT).
Build and oversee unified enterprise data architectures (Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Warehouses like Snowflake/BigQuery) and modern BI reporting systems (PowerBI, Tableau, custom analytics platforms).
Ensure seamless interoperation between legacy systems, microservices, third-party SaaS tools, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Governance & Standards:
Define and enforce data governance policies, metadata management, API security guidelines (OAuth2, OIDC, Zero Trust), and reporting data freshness SLAs.
Establish enterprise design patterns, deployment standard operating procedures (SOPs), and architectural decision records (ADRs).
Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment:
Act as a bridge between C-suite/business executives, product teams, and delivery engineers to convert complex functional needs into robust architecture.
Mentor Lead Engineers and Senior Developers; conduct technical design reviews and code audits.
Performance, Security & Scalability:
Optimise query execution, data modeling (Kimball/Vault), and high-throughput real-time streaming topologies.
Lead disaster recovery strategies, automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, and continuous cloud cost optimization (FinOps).
