Transport analyst
Job Description
The Transport Analyst role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical and supply chain background coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
In your role as Transport Analyst you will be part of the European Transport function and work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain and Finance teams, external partners (freight carriers, audit company) and enable the achievement of financial data transparency and strategic objectives.
You will add value to the organization by supporting a high level of profitability by supporting the optimization and control of the freight budget (95m€)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze existing transport and logistics processes to identify automation and digitalization opportunities.
- Support integration of digital tools, collaborate with IT, operations and external vendors to ensure smooth deployment of automation technologies.
- Collect and interpret transport data to generate insights and support decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs like delivery time, cost per shipment, CO₂ emissions, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Computer science/Coding/Programming
- 1-2 years of experience as business analyst, participating in automation/digitalization projects
- Excellent communication in English (written and spoken), any additional European language is a plus
- Strong-problem solving mindset and analytical skills
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, high degree of accuracy and strong time management
- Experience with Cognos, TM1, Google sheets, SQL is a plus
