Location Details: ACG 14 State Footprint (CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, MI, MN, NE, NC, ND, SC, TN, WI)

Position Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, weekly rotating hours between the hours of 8:30am-6pm ET

Position Summary:

This role serves as a key liaison between travel users, technical teams, and business partners to support and improve automated travel systems. The position identifies operational needs, supports system enhancements, and participates in projects from development through implementation. This position also helps ensure reliable processes and effective technology solutions for the business, by auditing systems and data for accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team staff to ensure innovative and effective recommendations and resolutions for problems.   Assists with problem resolution and supports on-going utilization.  Assists in training field travel users in the use of hardware, APOLLO applications, AXIS, Travelport Cruise software, web sites and on-line manuals.  Conducts presentations as necessary.   Assists in technology (application software, hardware, etc.), deployment in field and administration.  Provides support for the installation of PC hardware and application software in field locations or administration.

Assists in coordinating the development and distribution of user training materials for travel systems and applications developed in-house.   Provides support at locations or via phones, as required.

Required Qualifications:

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Use of APOLLO and/or other travel reservation systems

  • AXIS travel front office system

  • Travelport Cruise

  • Agent Max application

  • Using a variety of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

  • Analyzing information and data flows in automated systems

  • Working effectively in a team environment

  • Analyzing and resolving problems

  • Analyzing and presenting process improvement issues

  • Formatting data for reports, presentations, etc.

  • Organizing and planning effectively

  • Working under pressure to complete assignments in a timely manner

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to analyze automation opportunities, research alternatives and recommend solutions

  • Assist in the implementation of field automation tools

  • Assist in user training for successful implementation of field automation tools

  • Learn new software projects as needed

  • Communicate effectively with others in a work environment and with the public

  • Demonstrate strong written communication skills

  • Travel and work on weekends and for extended hours when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

Work Environment: Works from your remote workspace or in a temperature-controlled office environment if working a hybrid schedule. Hybrid schedules are required for employees that live within 30 miles of an ACG corporate hub.

Compensation

Starting pay ranges from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Time Off & Leave  

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment. Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements. Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month.  

  • Paid Holidays: Paid Holidays: Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.  

  • Paid leave programs, including parental, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
