The Trust Analyst manages complex trust and fiduciary transactions, reconciliations, and compliance activities in Wealth Management Operations. This role ensures operational excellence in trust administration while maintaining accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strong client service.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Execute complex trust transactions including distributions, asset transfers, and trust terminations

  • Process estate settlements, trust modifications, and beneficiary changes

  • Manage trust accounting, income allocation, and trustee reporting

  • Perform quality checks on trust transactions to identify errors or discrepancies

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce error rates

  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures

  • Support onboarding by training new team members on trust systems, workflows, and regulations

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

Work Experience

  • 5-7 years of trust administration or fiduciary services experience

  • Knowledge of trust taxation and accounting principles

  • Proficiency in trust administration systems and advanced Excel

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with trust administration platforms (SEI, Fiserv)

  • Process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma)
