About the team:
Walmart’s Supply Chain Strategy org is transforming the future of Walmart’s omnichannel supply chain strategy. The Supply Chain Strategy team focuses on asset planning, network optimization, and transformation initiatives by leveraging advanced data science, machine learning, and AI techniques. The team applies rigorous model assessment, validation, & data visualization methods to deliver actionable insights. Collaborating across functions, they translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The team fosters continuous learning and innovation, utilizing programming skills in Python/SQL to develop scalable models. Their work supports strategic decision-making and drives impactful improvements within the supply chain network.
What you'll do:
We’re looking for a Senior Manager who is focused on driving initiatives in Ambient First Mile strategy team. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role within the organization with expectations to deliver immediate results. Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish, including cross-functional project management, data collection and manipulation, analysis and modeling, and the communication of insights and recommendations.
- Build scalable supply chain models to optimize supply chain strategies with goal of delivering an excellent customer experience while balancing operating cost and asset efficiency.
- Obtain alignment from business partners and management for projects and lead discussions to drive change.
What you'll bring:
- Bring a high degree of originality and creativity when developing solutions to improve existing business processes within the supply chain.
- Are adept at dealing with ambiguity and making independent decisions about what data and approach is best for the task at hand.
- Excel in communicating with individuals and groups at all levels of an organization.
- Extensive experience in data science with strong proficiency in machine learning techniques and advanced statistical modeling.
- Skilled in data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights to business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of business context across multiple domains to translate requirements into actionable data solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
